The Piccolo Catalunya Hostel is in the centre of Alghero, on the second and third floors of an apartment building in Via Vittorio Emanuele II.
The hostel is in a fantastic position: from here it is easy to get around the city to visit all the main attractions. The lively historic centre of Alghero is only 600 metres away, with its Catalan influences, narrow streets, towers and characteristic bastions, the coral jeweller's, and the many restaurants serving typical local cuisine.
From the old town a long pedestrian and cycle path goes past the marina and along the seafront.
400m from the hostel, next to the public gardens and opposite Hotel Catalunya, are the bus stops which connect the city to the most beautiful beaches on the Riviera del Corallo, the airport and other towns and villages in Sardinia.
The Piccolo Catalunya Hostel has a spacious and comfortable common room, purposely designed to allow you to share your travelling experiences with guests from all over the world.
The hostel offers several private rooms with ensuite bathrooms and welcoming, comfortable 4 and 6-bed dormitories which each have an en suite bathroom. One domitory is reserved for women only.
Each bed has its own private locker with a key. The first set of sheets and towels is always included. The whole hostel has free Wi-Fi and air conditioning.
We have thought of everything to ensure the highest level of security and cleaning.
Every day our staff clean and sanitize the whole hostel. We therefore ask our guests to be aware that the cleaning staff will be coming into the rooms and dormitories every day between 11.00am and 15.00.
Security inside the hostel is always guaranteed. Access to the floor where your room is and the common room is only possible for registered guests who have a special key card which you receive at check-in.
You can check in from 15.00 at the reception of Hotel Domomea, at 47, Via Vittorio Veneto which is only 400 metres from the hostel and easily reached on foot.
On the day of departure, check out at Hotel Domomea before 11.00am and return your keys. If you need to leave your bag, Hotel Domomea has free baggage storage.
